The legendary Stephen Bissette praises STRANGE TIMES #3

If you have enjoyed comics over the years, odds are you have heard of Stephen Bissette. While his most famous work comes out of his collaboration with writer Alan Moore and inker John Totleben on Saga of the Swamp Thing, he’s been a prolific presence in comics for decades.

And now we know that Stephen Bissette REALLY likes Matt Levin’s Walking Man Comics. Today, he posted this on his Facebook wall:

What a wonderful endorsement! I knew that Matt (and, to a much lesser degree, I) was on to something when we were putting Strange Times #3 together over the first half of 2023. Seeing an endorsement like Mr. Bissette’s, however, provides affirmation to that feeling….as does the amazed reaction of attendees at last weekend’s Street Cat Zine Fest 7 when I opened the zine and showed them Matt’s entirely unique take on sequential art.
