While Strange Times 4 and Heroes Now 4 were percolating at the printer, I found myself with the time to finally put together a legitimate catalog of Phoenix Productions zines. You can download a copy of the catalog by clicking here. I’ll also bring copies to shows and zine fests, not to mention toss itContinue reading “Check out the brand new 2023-24 Phoenix catalog!”

Big changes to the back catalog
Of course I couldn’t have picked a better time, but this has been percolating in my mind for a while now. It’s also been something that I’ve been working hard on over the last week or so. What’s going on, you ask? Well, I’m migrating the Phoenix Productions physical back issue store to Amazon. There’sContinue reading “Big changes to the back catalog”

Trying to keep pace with the times… Phoenix Productions is now up and running on Instagram. I’ll likely be putting some unique content over there, so please make a point to sign up if keeping tabs on Phoenix Productions is important to you. While I’m thinking about it, Phoenix Productions also is on LinkTree. IContinue reading “Phoenix Prods on Instagram, LinkTree”
UFO Award notations on covers
Some minor housekeeping: Covers for our 2022 United Fanzine Organization titles have been updated to reflect the recently-announced 2023 UFO Awards. Check out the fancy ribbon graphics! Digital files in the Gumroad store have been updated as well. Should I reprint these titles, they will get the new covers. My goal: Get through the summer, enjoy it with the kids and then ramp it up once Labor Day hit. And that’s come to pass as expected. Well, kinda. I actually wasContinue reading “Labor Day means Phoenix books in progress”

Post-SPACE wrapup – First show since ’87!
The 22nd Small Press & Alternative Comics Expo, aka SPACE, was held on May 21-22 at the Rhodes Center on the grounds of the Ohio State Fairgrounds. That’s the top-line explanation, but then there’s what happened inside. I’ll try to share what little I could see from my vantage point, as well as my personalContinue reading “Post-SPACE wrapup – First show since ’87!”
