I’m excited to say that the early reviews for The Collected Cranium Frenzy by Steve Willis are pretty darned good…
Here’s the Amazon listing for Volume 1:

Thomas Campbell at The Comics Blogger, a newbie to Steve Willis’ work, had some positive words (on his paywalled Patreon, so I’m only going to excerpt it):
I read the first two volumes that bring the series up to contemporary times and I’m happy to say that Willis doesn’t lose his effervescent good humor over the years. This is observational humor about the mundane and also “the state of things” but a balance is found here between the timely and universal. There’s a sense of curiosity about the world that doesn’t fall into the typical categories of naivety or cynicism, and seeing that retained over several decades is something to witness
And then there’s Steve Bissette, award-winning artist on Swamp Thing, Taboo, Tyrant and so much more. I sent him a copy of the Reader, and he had this to say in reply:

Oh Mr. B…there isn’t just a second volume. There are four, with more to come as Steve keeps chugging along!
So yeah, the early returns are promising. If you happen to hear of any other reviews, please let me know at phoenixprodscomics@yahoo.com. Thank you!
Congratulations on the wonderful reviews! And, oh yes, well-deserved high praise from Steve B, too! High flyin’! So glad you and Steve Willis are getting the attention. Oh well done, sir, well done! take care, Matt L.
