Took me a little longer than hoped (but what doesn’t?), but Something in the Water‘s fourth installment is live over on the Instagram page.

The story continues along as Faduma does a data dive, and young Will introduces us to his buddy, Meg.

Art-wise (and while the story is important to me, this really is an art project), I did this issue’s interior art “manually” on the linework. Bristol board, blue pencils, Micron pens…and probably not enough use of the rulers. I’ll get there, I promise!

(I did use Photoshop to add greys, and the cover is a character study of Faduma that I worked up using Midjourney. A little “photo” reference never killed a guy…)

Anyway, hope you enjoy the chapter. I’m shifting gears to a couple other books now; FANzine Two is underway, and I gather that Heroes Now 5 is coming together a lot faster than I expected. Maybe those two will be ready for S.P.A.C.E. 2024!
