A little update for those interested:
Heroes Now #4 is complete. I’ve been hop-scotching back and forth between Heroes Now, Strange Times, Hologram and Something in the Water (much to the chagrin of my long-neglected Inktober 52 artwork) for a while now. I figured it would be best to put one project to bed and move on with the other projects as time allows.
The zine will be a fun one, with the conclusion of the opening four-part arc of The Patriots by Tony Lorenz and me, a really nifty Hero Gallery and the initial installment of The Official Guide to the Phoenix Universe! Add in some really nice pinup artwork, and you have the makings of yet another strong installment of Heroes Now.
And how about that Tryzenski/Ahearn Laser-Disc homage to Frank Miller’s Dark Knight Returns #1? LOVE IT!
In the interest of saving (considerable) shipping costs, I’ll be sending this zine to the printer at the same time as the forthcoming Strange Times #4. More news on Strange Times later, but you can expect both books hopefully in October 2023.
