It’s been quite a week in looking back on my collection of crowdfunded comics projects! I believe I have 12 projects in total to cover (but knowing my storage methodology, a 13th or 14th could pop up and I would be entirely unsurprised), and this first week covered four of them. Click the links below to go to the project’s specific page. In order, they are:

Richard Kemp’s dystopian adventure filled with action and dark magic!

Day 2: Branches Entwined & Broken
Rio Burton’s manga-inspired (and formatted) graphic novel fantasy epic of discovery, friendship/romance and revenge.

Day 3: Take the Monkey and RUN! #1
Brent Peeples’ delightfully entertaining tale of a tween who…got a stuffed monkey for his birthday. And the harrowing action that followed.

Day 4: Time Before Time – Process Edition
A fantastic peek behind the curtain at the making of Declan Shalvey’s latest series for Image Comics, covering every possible angle and bursting forth with development sketches and commentary.
Yeah, it’s been a good week. A very good one. The diversity in crowdfunded comics is amazing, the creativity is off the charts.
I can’t wait to see what next week holds….definitely four more projects to recap, five if I can pull it off!
Have you considered checking out my small press comics and stories?
