I’ve been rummaging through my old minicomics – bagging, to be honest, as they’re now old enough that they may have some value to someone in the collector or academic worlds – and stumbled across Outside In #27. Published by Edd Vick with help from Hal Hargit out of Seattle, this series filled itself with small press/fanzine creators’ minicomic-sized self-portraits. The 27th issue focused on the Mass Press, a nice tribute to our small but mighty band of comics creators.
Seventeen-year-old me even did a self-portrait, and you can see why I don’t draw much. But check out Hargit’s flattering overview of the Mass Press.
